Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe, (where you will be required to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No weekends or holidays required). In this vital role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to transcribe medical information, manage electronic health records, and assist with various administrative tasks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical documentation, terminology, and office operations within a supportive team setting. Duties Accurately transcribe doctor-patient interactions in real-time using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to ensure precise medical documentation. Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and hospital policies. Support the medical team by verifying patient information and updating charts. Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to understand complex medical terminology and document diagnoses effectively. Perform transcription of dictated notes, lab results, imaging reports, and other clinical data with high accuracy. Provide exceptional administrative assistance by answering queries, coordinating patient flow, and supporting office manager when needed. Support the office and medical staff with tasks when needed. Tasks include accurately refilling medications through EMR, preparing History and Physical notes before patient's go in for surgery, prepare ultrasound notes before tech arrives, etc... Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with EMR or EHR systems to efficiently document patient encounters. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy to accurately interpret clinical information. Demonstrated ability to perform precise transcription under time-sensitive conditions. Experience with medical records management, including filing, retrieving, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
