Medical Scribe

Overview:

InVision LLC optometry and neuro optometric therapy office is looking for a medical Scribe to join our team. The Medical Scribe will work closely with our healthcare provider to accurately document patient encounters in real-time.

Duties:

• Transcribe:

  Record patient history, physical exams, consultations, and other clinical interactions.

• Anatomy and Physiology Knowledge:

  Understand and accurately document anatomical and physiological terms.

• Medical Documentation:

  Ensure precise and timely documentation of medical procedures and treatments.

• Medical Terminology:

  Proficient in medical terminology to accurately transcribe medical reports.

• Typing Skills:

  Efficiently type medical reports and notes during patient visits.

• Systems Management:

  Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.

Medical Office Support:

Assist in maintaining organized medical records and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience or knowledge in a medical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent typing skills for accurate and timely transcription.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
