Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical documentation. In this vital role, you will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately transcribe and document patient encounters in real-time. Duties Must be Fluent in English and Spanish. Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers by capturing relevant patient history, physical exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Maintain and update medical records with current information, including lab results, imaging reports, and medication lists. Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately interpret provider instructions and patient data. Support physicians in managing medical records efficiently by organizing documentation and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize typing skills to quickly and accurately document patient encounters while maintaining focus on the provider's workflow. Experience Must be Fluent in English and Spanish. Prior experience working in a medical office setting or as a medical scribe is highly preferred. Proficiency with EMR or EHR systems for documentation purposes. Strong transcription skills combined with excellent typing speed are necessary for real-time documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy enhances accuracy in clinical notes. Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of confidentiality protocols ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.
