We are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services and innovative treatment options to our community, fostering a patient-centered approach in a collaborative environment. Job Overview Busy ophthalmology practice seeking a full-time Medical Scribe to support multiple physicians, rotating between providers as needed. This role focuses on real-time documentation and maintaining efficient patient flow in a high-volume clinic. Duties Scribe for physicians during patient visits (real-time documentation in EMR) Rotate between providers based on daily clinic needs Document histories, exams, procedures, and treatment plans Adapt to different provider workflows and preferences Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation Maintain strong ophthalmic anatomy and physiology knowledge for accurate documentation Skills Medical scribe experience required (ophthalmology preferred) Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ocular anatomy Experience working within EMR/EHR systems Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Background in medical office or healthcare environment is preferred. Ability to document complex medical information clearly and professionally.
