In this energetic position, you will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately transcribe and record clinical encounters, ensuring seamless flow of information within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical terminology will help streamline documentation processes, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters, capturing physician observations, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans with precision. Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input, update, and manage patient information efficiently. Assist healthcare providers by documenting medical histories, physical examinations, and procedural details accurately and promptly. Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies. Support physicians during emergency room visits by quickly capturing vital signs, physiology data, and relevant medical information under pressure. Review and verify the accuracy of medical documentation for completeness and correctness before final submission. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure clarity and accuracy in all documentation. Skills Strong transcription skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately under time constraints. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation management. Prior medical office experience or familiarity with clinical workflows is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise recording of complex medical information. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care settings. Solid understanding of medical records management, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA compliance.
