Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will work closely with physicians and medical staff to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring seamless flow of information within the medical practice. Your expertise will help enhance the efficiency of clinical operations, support accurate medical records management, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced medical environment while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, including symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and physician observations Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to input and organize patient data efficiently and accurately-preferably Athena Assist healthcare providers by capturing precise medical documentation using specialized typing skills and familiarity with medical terminology Support the maintenance of comprehensive and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and institutional policies Demonstrate strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately record complex medical information Collaborate with medical staff during emergency room visits or urgent care situations to document critical details swiftly and accurately Review and verify all documentation for clarity, completeness, and accuracy before final submission Travel to all 3 of our offices (83 Springview lane, 1801 2nd Ave and 109 River Landing Drive) Hours are M-T 7:15-5pm and Fridays 7:15-12:30pm-sorry no concessions Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or as a Medical Scribe is highly preferred Proficiency in transcription, typing with high speed and accuracy, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy to ensure precise documentation Experience working in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care centers is advantageous Strong understanding of medical records management, including confidentiality protocols and legal compliance Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and support team members Join us in this rewarding role where your attention to detail and passion for healthcare will directly contribute to improved patient experiences. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
