Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe

Duties Accurately document patient encounters in electronic health record (EHR) systems during exams and procedures Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray coordination, and basic life support (BLS) protocols Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are ready for outpatient and inpatient visits Record ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding details for billing and documentation purposes Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, managing appointment flow, and ensuring comfort during visits Requirements Prior experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or hospital settings is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding practices Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs collection, medication administration, and X-ray coordination Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and team collaboration Join us to make a meaningful impact on patient health while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
