Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical documentation, terminology, and anatomy, with the ability to accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in enhancing clinical efficiency by ensuring precise and comprehensive record-keeping within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters, ensuring completeness and clarity. Assist physicians by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans within electronic medical records (EMR) and EHR systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to facilitate precise documentation. Support the organization and management of medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation details and ensure accuracy of medical records. Utilize typing skills efficiently to keep pace with physicians during fast-paced clinical environments, including emergency room settings when applicable. Demonstrate proficiency in transcription tools and EMR/EHR platforms to streamline documentation processes. Requirements Prior experience in a medical office environment or as a medical scribe is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy. Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems used in clinical settings for documentation purposes. Excellent transcription skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Basic understanding of medical records management and confidentiality protocols. Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with minimal errors.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.71 per hour
