Job Description

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services. Our Mission is to "Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective". Geode Health offers advanced treatment programs for depression across our practice locations. We are looking for a passionate TMS technician that is motivated by joining a quickly growing organization. The TMS technician is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. The TMS technician will be responsible for administering TMS treatment under the direction of our treating physician. The TMS Technician will also be providing support to our clinical team and patients during TMS treatment. Most importantly we're looking to bring someone into our team who is excited about our mission to improve mental healthcare across the country.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with physician, providers, and admin staff on patient care Conducts TMS screenings to determine patient has been qualifications as potential TMS candidate Ability to identify qualification requirements for TMS through screening consult Delivers TMS treatment to patients Performs equipment positioning for TMS treatment sessions Collect and process intake paperwork with obtaining medical records as necessary Handling vital signs, such as weight, height, temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate Participating in collaborating with our billing team to obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance benefits Managing daily treatment and monitoring of multiple patients per day Ability to objectively document TMS encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Provide regular updates on treatment progress and outcomes to referring providers Managing, monitoring, and tracking of treatment and medications Operate TMS machine safely (as applicable) Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations Knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations Understanding of Geode Health policies and procedures Maintain client HIPAA rights, and other protections of confidentiality and privacy Submit records to inquiring parties with documentation of proper release forms and materials Ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient handling of documents for filing and scanning Copy/scan/fax/email information as required Assist with communication between clients and providers Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Job Qualifications:
One year of patient care/mental health office setting preferred TMS technician experienced (preferred) Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression (preferred) Excellent organizational skills Strong ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting (preferred) Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team Excellent computer skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates or bachelor's degree One year of working in healthcare/mental health care setting (preferred)
Required Licensure/Certifications:
