Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation. EMA experience a PLUS!!! Assist healthcare providers with routine clinical tasks, including preparing examination rooms, collecting vital signs, and supporting procedures. Manage and update patient medical records with precision, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Demonstrate strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately document diagnoses, treatments, and physician instructions. Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes. Maintain an organized workflow by efficiently typing reports, updating medical records, and ensuring all documentation aligns with provider notes. Respond promptly to urgent situations in emergency room settings or urgent care environments, supporting clinicians in delivering timely care. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record management is essential. Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken words into written records. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy to ensure precise documentation. Experience handling medical records securely while adhering to privacy laws such as HIPAA is required. Familiarity with Dermatology is a PLUS!! Excellent typing skills to facilitate rapid and accurate note-taking during patient encounters.
