The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional care and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. In this role, you will help ensure their safety, comfort, and overall well-being while fostering a warm, respectful, and supportive environment.
Position:
Med Tech Responsibilities include: Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) by assisting with any and all needs the residents may have, including but not limited to activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and eating while not handling medications. Maintain a consistent charting rhythm with all residents in their care, following the medication administration requirements for each individual resident. Reporting to their wing or charge nurse any changes in the resident needs or condition. Follow all facility policies and procedures with regards to the safety and security of themselves, the residents, and any guests. Treats all residents with respect and dignity. Follows the instructions and direction from leadership as well as working in conjunction with other floor staff including nurses and other aides.Qualifications:
Current Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certificate active in the state. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others. Ability to understand and follow TMA work assignments. Ability to work as part of a team with fellow TMA's and other staff.
