A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
a Certified Medication Aide As a Certified Medication Aide at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you play a critical role in the care of our residents. You are responsible for assisting licensed nurses in administering medications to residents, ensure the safe and accurate delivery of medications, monitor residents for any adverse reactions, and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE
Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program and certification. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and practices. Ability to read and understand medication orders and dosage instructions. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care. Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately. Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and perform tasks related to medication administration.
