THE BASICS
Pay :
Our Assisted Living Med Tech earns $21.00+/hour!
Schedule :
NOC/PM shifts are available. We work 8-hour shifts. 2:00 pm - 10 pm, or 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. YOUR DAY AS AN ASSISTED LIVING MED TECH
As a crucial member of our team, you ensure our elderly residents' medical needs are properly met and they're feeling their best. Working closely with a licensed nurse, you accurately administer medications according to each patient's needs. You follow timelines, administer the proper dosages, and ensure every patient receives the correct medicine. With a positive attitude, you also assist residents with personal needs like bathing, skincare, or caring for chronic conditions. You treat every resident respectfully and kindly, fostering independence whenever possible. You bond with residents and their families, collaborating with your medical team to provide exceptional care.
REQUIREMENTS
Current caregiver certification Completion of designated training programs as prescribed by the wellness director or supervisor Excellent communication skills Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and resident transfers A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to upholding their dignity and privacy
