Job Description
Med Tech - Join Immanuel, a Team with Heart! Join a compassionate team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medication Technician who is passionate about providing high-quality care and ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications in a supportive environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the health, dignity, and safety of our residents. Job Duties Prepare and administer medication and treatments as ordered by physician. Order medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary. Report all discrepancies noted concerning physician's orders, medication count, or any other unusual situations and complaints regarding resident services and care to your immediate supervisor. Provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living. Chart and perform documentation duties are required Assist residents with light housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment. Observe, report, and document symptoms and conditions of residents to LPN Supervisor. Assist in admittance, transfer and discharge of residents as requested. Escort residents to and from dining areas for meals. Assist with tasks related to dining, as needed. Follow universal precautions and isolation procedures for infection control. Wash hands at beginning of shift, between residents, before passing trays and after assisting with elimination - even if wearing gloves.
Knowledge / Skills
/ Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with residents. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Employment Requirements Arizona Caregiver Certificate must have ALTP or ALCTP number on certificate Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply if needed) Current 2-stepTB Test (available on-site if needed) Current hands-on, in person class CPR/AED & First Aid Certificate for Healthcare Professionals Valid Food Handlers Card Must be at least 18 years of age We value your dedication and care for our residents.
