Medication Technician Hopess Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification First aid High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Attention to detail First aid and CPR Full Job Description About Us HOPESS (Homes of Personal Enrichment & Sobriety Services) serves some of Arizona's highest‑need individuals through its 175‑bed Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in North Central Phoenix, with a strong focus on people living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and justice‑involved individuals. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will provide essential care and support to patients at a residential treatment center. Your role will involve assisting with patient care, medical documentation, and ensuring the overall well-being of patients. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of medical professionals Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team Assist with self-administration of medications as prescribed by healthcare providers Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Provide emotional support and comfort to residents Ensuring residents do not run out of medications Requirements Fingerprint clearance card In Person CPR and First Aid Recent TB test High School Diploma or GED, Med Tech certification encouraged Skills Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Familiarity with residential treatment facility settings Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassionate and empathetic nature towards residents
Multiple Shifts Available Mon-Fri:
1:30pm - 10:00pm (Full-Time)
Sat/Sun:
6:00am - 10:00pm (Full-Time)
