Job Description

Avista Senior Living Apache in Yuma, AZ is seeking highly motivated, reliable Med Techs to join our growing team. We are a team where Kindness Counts, providing loving care to our residents.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, positioning, transfers, and mobility within the guidelines of state law and company policies and procedures . Assist all residents in participating in planned activity program seven days per week. • Prepare, assist with and document the administration of medication to residents under supervision of licensed nurse and in strict compliance with state regulations and physician's orders. Prepare residents for meals and snacks and assist residents in dining room. Keep proper records of care given. Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, offices and corridors as outlined in housekeeping procedures. Ensure all areas are safe. • Attend all required in-service training. Comply with and understand all resident rights. Communicate all pertinent information to Director of Nursing. Communicate with oncoming shift to ensure follow through of duties. Report unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.
Requirements:
Valid Caregivers Certificate
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MED TECH
EXPERIENCE, minimum 2 years Current CPR and First Aid Fingerprint clearance card Current TB or CXR (Able to provide upon hiring) 3 references: 2 personal and one professional
