- 6:00 PM Some On-Call Availability Required Southern California Sunrise Recovery Center is seeking an experienced, reliable, and organized Medication Manager to join our behavioral health team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medication Technician/Manager Previous experience in Residential Behavioral Health Experience using theKIPU EMR
system required Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and compliance Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills Experience with staff training a must Reliable transportation is required for travel between facilities Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Some on-call availability requiredEducation & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Healthcare-related education or training preferred Current CPR and First Aid certification requiredResponsibilities:
Conduct daily onsite visits to each of our residential facilities in Mission Viejo Perform medication counts and maintain medication inventory accuracy Coordinate medication orders and refills with pharmacies Add and update medication orders in KIPU Fax prescriptions and physician orders to pharmacies Maintain and organize medication inventory records Properly document and destroy discontinued medications in accordance with policy and regulatory standards Train Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and staff on medication administration procedures and protocols Provide key staff training related to medication management and compliance procedures Effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Ensure accurate and timely documentation Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and medication protocols Collaborate effectively with clinical and residential staff to support quality resident careIndeed Applicant Questions:
