Med Tech Duties:

Set up and assist administering medications as directed by healthcare providers Order medications as needed Quality patient care Documentation of medication administration As a med tech there is always some caregiving involved Documentation of resident care and concerns Responding to emergency bells and sending residents to the hospital as needed

Caregiving Duties:

Assist residents with activities of daily living. Including changing adult briefs, changing clothes, feeding, ambulating and bathing.

Skills:

• Proficiency in medication administration
• Experience working in an assisted living facility or long-term care facility is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
• As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to residents.
