Shift Detail:
Per diem position, looking mainly for day availability with the ability to start at 6 am. Occasional swing, evening, and weekend coverage. Work where every moment matters. Responsible for gathering accurate medication histories information from patients arriving at the Emergency Department, this information is done by interviewing patient/family/significant other upon arrival to be admitted to the inpatient units. Completes various related administrative which alleviate pharmacist time. Responsible to maintain confidential reports, enter and retrieve data utilizing the computer system, and speak confidently with patients/family, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Requires an appropriate level of understanding and training in medical terminology and medication related terms Experience
  • One (1) year of experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail setting.
  • Or, six month experience conducting medication histories and/or similar experiences Licensure, Certification, Registration
  • Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection required by March 31st of each year.
