Resident Care Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician / Resident Care Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities while ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as prescribed and document appropriately Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff Maintain accurate medication records and follow proper medication storage procedures Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Medication Technician certification (or willingness to obtain) CPR/First Aid certification preferred Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Physical Requirements:

Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
