ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and in a timely manner. Provides routine care such as transferring, positioning, and transporting residents safely. Administers medications (oral, topical, and other approved routes) according to physician orders and facility policies. Documents medication administration and resident care accurately and in a timely manner. Observes residents for changes in condition, behavior, or response to medications and reports findings to the nurse. Assists with meal service, feeding, hydration, and monitoring of nutritional intake. Performs light housekeeping, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment, including resident rooms and common areas. Responds promptly to call lights and resident requests. Uses appropriate communication techniques to support residents' emotional and behavioral needs.
Other Duties:
1. Maintains safe and sanitary workstations and equipment. 2. Encourages independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs and rehabilitation. 3. Attends in-service training and education session, as assigned. 4. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
