What You Will Do:
Provide direct resident care services, including medication distribution to residents. Follow individualized plans of care for all residents. Perform resident assessments as required by state standards/regulations and community policy under the direction of the Director of Assisted Living. Observe residents for changes in condition and report any changes immediately to the supervisor and/or Executive Director. Provide timely interventions for changes in condition and communicate updates to care staff and families as instructed. Document all pertinent observations, red flags, incidents, interventions, communication with residents' responsible parties, physicians (as necessary), clinical procedures, and daily medication assistance/care throughout the shift and no later than the end of each shift. Effectively communicate required information to the next shift and direct supervisor to ensure quality resident care. Oversee timely documentation by Resident Assistants of services provided and any noted concerns during their shift. Complete and maintain individualized care plans for each resident. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Why You Are Qualified:
The ideal candidate will have the following: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. At least one (1) year of related work experience required. Medical Technician certification required in accordance with Georgia state regulations. On a daily basis throughout the workday, must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping with both hands, and performing fine motor manipulation. Must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
