Certified Medication Aide - Full Time, Iowa Veterans Home

Join our team now for a $500 Recruitment payment for full time positions as well as $500 quarterly CMA retention payment. The Iowa Veterans Home is a long-term care facility, located in Marshalltown, Iowa, with the mission of providing exceptional resident-centered care and the highest quality of life to Iowa's Veterans and spouses. This position starts at $19.43 per hour with an additional $0.75 when passing medications. The Iowa Veterans Home has openings for full time Certified Medication Aides with options to work:

• 3 day work week; 14-hours either 6 a.m
• 8:30 p.m. OR 3:45 p.m
• 6:15 a.m.; working 1 out of 4 weekends
• 8-hours on evening shift (2 p.m.
• 10:30 p.m.); working every other weekend
• 10-hours on night shift (8:15 p.m.
• 6:15 a.m.); working every other weekend
• Weekend package shift options are available with retention payments up to $5,000 paid out over 26 pay periods.

Lodging and meals available upon request. Must be a Certified Nursing Aide with Medication Aide Certificate. Applicant will pass medications as indicated on MAR and perform basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs.
