Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) 112

Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana's largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group. Responsibilities Organize nursing station, charts and medication cart ensuring medications are available, inventoried, and organized. Medication administration Monitor client care. Provide problem solving counseling and emergency interventions to stop or limit escalation of psychiatric symptoms. Measuring and documenting vital signs, i.e. temperature, blood sugar, and blood pressure Apply topical medication to minor skin conditions. Dress minor skin tears assessed by nurse. Shifts - Full time / Various Schedules Available Must be willing to work 4 days on 3rd shift and 1 day on 2nd shift. 2nd Shift / 3pm-11pm 3rd Shift / 11pm-7am

Pay Rate :

$16.53 - $19.83 / hr Requirements HS diploma or equivalent Indiana CNA registration, listed in good standing as a QMA in the Indiana state Nurse Aide Registry No experience required. Six months experience working in human services field preferred. Benefits (for full time staff) Dental/Vision/Medical insurance Up to 20 vacation days per year for the first two years. One additional vacation day per year after until maximum 32 days are reached. 9
