Job Description
Duties:
Administer medications and insulin to patients as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Document medication administration and patient care activities accurately and timely
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures ```
Qualifications:

Must be a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certified in the state of Indiana
Must be Certified in Insulin Administration
Previous experience in hospice care, caregiving, or senior care required
Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medication systems
Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health record systems
Ability to perform physical examinations and assist with tube feeding if required
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
