Job Description
A re you a compassionate, dependable Certified Medication Aide looking to join a team that truly values the work you do? We are currently seeking a night shift CMA to work Day or Night Shift and every other weekend from 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm . Shift differentials paid on evenings and weekends. extra $2/hr evenings, extra $2/hr weekends. Every other weekend required for Full-Time employees. Duties Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents following all regulatory guidelines and facility policies Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status regularly Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Document medication administration, patient responses, and any changes in condition accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to update medical records and ensure continuity of care Utilizing Pointclickcare for medication administration and documentation. Carefully reviewing and following physician orders. Monitoring residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects. Supporting residents during meal times, including assisting with meal service and ensuring residents receive proper nutrition. Helping create a clean, safe, and supportive living environment for residents. Follow HIPAA regulations strictly to protect residents' privacy and confidentiality Attend required trainings and inservices as scheduled (usually on Fridays monthly) Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Aide or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) required Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration procedures Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standards Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach to caregiving Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing expert medication management and compassionate care. Pay:
