Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist with medication administration and provide high-quality care to residents in an assisted living setting. Your expertise will ensure residents receive safe, timely medications while supporting their overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors through attentive caregiving and professional medical support. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately following physician orders and facility protocols Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to medication treatments Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support Document medication administration and patient care activities precisely using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Observe and report any adverse reactions or changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff or supervisors Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care in assisted living or home environments Experience MUST have an active Kansas Certified Medication Aide license.
