The CMA is responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents and assisting with daily living activities in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians Document medication administration and report any errors or adverse reactions Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming Maintain accurate medication records and MARs Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Ensure medication carts and storage areas are secure and organized Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation Assist with feeding and hydration, including meal setup and monitoring intake Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations) Assist with restorative and rehabilitative care programs as directed Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship Maintain clean and safe resident rooms and common areas Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with patience and respect
