Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Boutique Residential Care Destiny Home Health Olathe, KS Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22.33 - $25.10 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Certified Medication Aide Full Job Description Job Overview Destiny Home Plus is a high-end, small residential care home serving only 12 residents in a warm, peaceful, family-like setting. We focus on intentional, personalized care —not rushed, facility-style work. This is for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way , especially when it comes to medications and resident safety. Duties Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols, Monitor residents' vital signs, medication effects, and overall health status, documenting findings meticulously using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility support, personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting, especially in memory care or dementia care settings. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including medication logs, patient records, and incident reports to ensure seamless communication among healthcare team members. Provide compassionate care tailored to residents with Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care services. Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to update care plans and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly. Follow all safety procedures related to catheter care, tube feeding, and other specialized medical tasks while adhering to infection control standards. Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) with current licensure in the state of practice. Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments—preferably with senior populations or individuals with disabilities. Experience providing dementia or memory care—especially Alzheimer's care—and working within hospice or acute care settings is highly desirable. Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to resident safety. Ability to work effectively as part of a team .
Pay:
$22.33 - $25.10 per hour
