Job Description

Lead Medication Aide (Overnight Shift)Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will assist with medication administration and provide high-quality support to residents in a safe and caring environment. This position also includes overnight leadership responsibilities , requiring strong communication and supervisory skills. Key Responsibilities Supervise, support, and motivate overnight staff to ensure quality care and smooth operations Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns promptly Accurately document medication administration and related observations in medical records Assist with monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and medication management Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and safety standards Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Medication Aide or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of medication administration procedures and best practices Familiarity with medical documentation and record-keeping systems Experience working with senior populations strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment Excellent communication and leadership abilities Why Join Us?
