Job Description

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) — Full Time, Day Shift Anew Healthcare of Pleasanton | Pleasanton, KS Anew Healthcare of Pleasanton, a 25-bed residential health care facility, is seeking a dependable, compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team.
Schedule:
Full Time, Day Shift — 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts).
Schedule rotates week to week:
3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next.
Pay:
$17.50-$18.00/hr

Paid time off (PTO) What You'll Do As a CMA, you will administer medications and provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Duties include:
Administering oral, topical, and other non-injectable medications to residents per physician orders and within the scope of a Kansas Certified Medication Aide Accurately documenting all medications given on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) Observing residents for medication effects, side effects, and reactions, and reporting concerns to the nurse promptly Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' physical condition, behavior, or emotional state Taking and recording vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating Helping with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation Answering call lights promptly and responding to resident needs Maintaining proper storage, security, and inventory of medications Following infection control, safety, and resident rights/dignity protocols Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents What We're Looking For Active Kansas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification (in good standing on the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry) Current Kansas CNA certification (required prerequisite for CMA) Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift/transfer residents as required Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills Apply today and become part of a team committed to quality, dignity-centered care.
