Certified Medication Aide

Overview Our census is growing and we need to add valuable members to our team! A Universal Worker at Keep Living Home Plus provides comprehensive care by combining personal caregiving with housekeeping, laundry, and dining service duties. You will support residents with medication administration, daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while also maintaining a clean, safe environment. We work 12-hr shifts and have openings for days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities Resident Care:

Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting) and transfer or reposition residents using proper body mechanics

Dining Services:

Set up dining room, prepare and serve meals, assist residents with eating, and clean up afterward

Housekeeping & Laundry:

Perform housekeeping duties throughout the house and launder bed linens and personal clothing

Safety and Monitoring:

Observe residents for changes in condition, report to supervisors, answer call lights, and maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Activities:

Plan and execute activities daily

Medication Management:

Safely administer prescribed medications to residents following all state and federal regulations, including medication reminders and documentation.

Key Qualifications Certification:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and an active Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) in the state of Kansas.

Skills:

Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, and compassionate attitude

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Attendance:

Proven record of high attendance and punctuality

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
