Job Overview SeaCoast at Liberty Ridge is looking to fill part-time Med Tech positions in our Memory Care. The right candidate must have
KMA, CMA
I or CMA II certification for consideration. This will be verified with the Kentucky State Board of Nursing prior to employment. Medication administration - ensure proper dosage and distribution of medication in accordance with State regulations, taking vital signs as required, recording information in resident medical record. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering medications, providing essential patient care, and supporting residents' health and well-being in various care settings. Your expertise will help ensure safe, accurate medication management while fostering a warm and respectful environment for those we serve. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately to residents or patients following all safety protocols and medical guidelines Monitor and record vital signs, medication effects, and patient responses using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Assist with activities of daily living including mobility support, hygiene, and feeding, especially in memory care or dementia care settings Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed Support residents with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, or hospice-related services Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to the healthcare team Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Technician from an accredited program; current state licensure required Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments is highly desirable Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as acute care or hospice environments Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and attention to detail Join our team to provide exceptional medication management and compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
