We are a cozy, family-oriented community servicing around 60 residents. Our Personal Care Attendants /Med Techs actively incorporate our "Philosophy for person-directed Care." You would develop an awareness of residents' interests and needs and assist residents to maximize their independence and participation by providing exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living. You would help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.
Pay range:
$20.50-22/hour depending on experience PRN Positions available A day in the life may look like : Provides resident care, including administering medications and documenting each treatment Maintain communication with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and residents' families concerning resident care Prepares shift reports Promotes and protects the rights of each resident To be successful in the role, you would have: Current Med Tech certification is a plus Current CPR certification is a plus Prior CNA or caregiving experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care A desire to have a positive impact in the lives of older adults English proficiency required (written and oral) Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Flexible schedule What's in it for you?
