This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, allowing you to make a meaningful difference while advancing your career in healthcare. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and document all medication administration in medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any abnormalities promptly Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and tube feeding procedures Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical documentation securely Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure effective patient care and update medical records with relevant observations Follow safety protocols for catheter care, medication administration, and other clinical procedures while demonstrating physiology and anatomy knowledge Engage with residents respectfully to promote a positive environment that enhances their quality of life Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Strong understanding of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing skills such as catheter care and tube feeding Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is a plus; willingness to learn new medical documentation platforms Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure privacy and security of patient information Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and strong communication abilities Physiology and anatomy knowledge relevant to senior care and acute care settings Join us in delivering high-quality patient-centered care that makes a real difference!
