Full Job Description Job Title:
Certified Medication Aide/Care Giver As a Certified Medication Aide/Care Giver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your compassionate care and dedication will ensure that individuals receive the support they need to thrive. You'll be responsible for administering medications, providing personal care, and fostering a nurturing environment for those in your care. Join us in making a difference every day! What you'll do Administer medications accurately and on time while adhering to safety protocols. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to the lead staff. Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Basic qualifications Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent experience in caregiving. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Preferred qualifications Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care settings. Background in senior care or home/community care experience. Proficiency in patient care techniques, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
