Certified Medication Technician (CMT) - currently seeking candidates for weekend shifts from 3pm-10pm Summit Community Health | Residential SUD Program (ASAM 3.5) Job Summary Summit Community Health is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support medication administration and client care within our residential substance use disorder treatment program. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CMT ensures safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery while supporting a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and RN delegation Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs) Monitor clients for medication effects and report concerns to nursing staff Ensure proper medication storage, security, and inventory Communicate effectively with clinical and program staff Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards Qualifications Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification (Maryland required) High school diploma or GED Experience in behavioral health or residential treatment preferred Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
