Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. This is a part-time position, averaging up to 20 hours per week, and requires flexibility to work any shift as scheduled. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a group home setting, focusing on enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence. You will work closely with clients to assist them with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Duties Pass Meds to individuals Monitor the health and well-being of clients, providing patient monitoring and support as needed. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Provide personal care assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary, to help clients with mobility and personal hygiene. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those in memory care or senior care settings. Administer first aid and CPR when required, ensuring a safe environment for all residents. Collaborate with other staff members to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during your shift. Qualifications Certified Medication Technician Female CPR/1st Aid Must be able to work any shift (7am-3pm, 3pm - 11pm and 11pm-7am) Bloodborne Pathogens Previous experience in a group home or similar setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and basic first aid/CPR certification is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
