  • $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

  • Professional development and career advancement opportunities Responsibilities As a Certified Medicine Aide, you will:
  • Administer medications to residents accurately and safely under established guidelines
  • Document medication administration and report any changes or concerns promptly
  • Observe residents for side effects, adverse reactions, or changes in condition
  • Work closely with nurses and the care team to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and medication administration protocols
  • Provide compassionate, respectful care while supporting residents' daily needs
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Communicate clearly with residents and team members Qualifications

Must have an active Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) certification with the Maryland Board of Nursing Located in the heart of Howard County, MD, Lorien Columbia is proud to be the flagship location of Lorien Health Services and has been serving the community since 1977. Our facility offers a full range of services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and is home to the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. With 215 beds across five nursing units — and plans to expand with a new unit — Lorien Columbia continues to grow while staying true to its mission of providing exceptional care.
