Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents according to physician orders and Maryland medication administration regulations. Accurately document medication administration in the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to the nurse or supervisor. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility, as needed. Measure and record vital signs when required. Ensure medications are stored, handled, and disposed of according to facility policies and state regulations. Reorder medications and maintain adequate medication supplies. Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, nurses, and family members regarding resident care when appropriate. Maintain accurate resident documentation and complete required reports. Respond promptly to resident emergencies and follow established emergency procedures. Maintain infection control and safety standards throughout the facility. Foster respectful, compassionate relationships with residents while protecting their dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Current Maryland Medication Technician certification or approved Medication Administration training required. $18.00 per hour salary
