Job Description

About the Role We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Technicians to join our team at our Queenstown group home. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting residents' daily lives, from administering medications and monitoring health to building meaningful connections that promote independence and dignity. Available Shifts (Full-Time) 7:00am
  • 3:00pm 3:00pm
  • 11:00pm 11:00pm
  • 7:00am Duties Administer medications accurately and maintain detailed logs each shift Monitor client health and well-being, escalating concerns promptly Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and heavy lifting as needed Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs Engage residents in social and cognitive activities that enhance quality of life Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans Maintain accurate shift-by-shift documentation of client progress and any incidents Willingness to undergo any necessary training related to home community care practices.
Qualifications Previous experience as a CNA/GNA is preferred Prior experience as a CMT is required Maryland CMT certification is required Current CPR / First Aid certification Prior caregiver experience in a DDA setting is preferred Prior caregiver experience is required Proficiency in medical documentation practices and understanding of medication management protocols. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Therap is highly desirable Ability to pass a background check per COMAR requirements
