Job Description

TriSource is seeking compassionate and reliable CMT's to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Towson area. This role involves assisting clients both in the home and within the community through recreational and daily living activities.
Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays 12p-8p
Requirements:
Must have experience distributing medication throughout the past year Must know and be able to recite the three-way check or three way match for medication administration Active CPR/First Aid Certification Active CMT Certification Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle Ability to pass a background check Core 9 DDA (can be completed within the first 30 days) Strong communication skills in English Ability to prepare standard American-style meals
Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications to individuals in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and state regulations. Perform medication administration using the required three-way medication verification process. Accurately document medication administration and maintain Medication Administration Records (MARs). Monitor individuals for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to nursing staff and supervisors. Ensure medications are stored securely and administered safely at all times. Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation, as needed. Observe and document individuals' physical, behavioral, and emotional well-being. Accompany individuals to medical appointments and assist with follow-up care recommendations.
