Medication Technician University Home Care Inc - 2.0 Royal Oak, MI Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Collaborate with healthcare professionals Maintaining patient confidentiality Certified Medication Technician Full Job Description University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team in Royal Oak, MI. In this role, you will assist in the safe administration and management of medications for our clients, ensuring their health and well-being are maintained to the highest standards. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and clients to provide exceptional care in a supportive environment. The interview is going to be at out main office in Livonia. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to clients according to established protocols and physician instructions. Monitor clients for any adverse reactions or side effects and report any concerns promptly. Maintain accurate medication records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Provide support and education to clients and their families regarding medication management and proper usage. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Adhere to all safety and quality standards to promote client health and safety. Requirements Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification or equivalent required.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in medication administration or a related healthcare role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
