Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for a Lead Medication Aide. The Lead Medication Aide a under the direct supervision of a nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine care duties and activities of daily living.

$20/hour
Schedule:
Full-time opportunity, 3:00-11:30pm

Lead Medication Aide:
Passing medications Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Gives treatments, performs tests, carry-out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed. Answers signal lights promptly. Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly. Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs. Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration. Completes montly online trainings Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Prior senior living nursing aide experience is preferred. L1Ma certification required. Successful completion of our in-house training is required to maintain employment. Must be reliable and dependable with attendance. Must maintain a professional appearance and communication. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
