Job Description

Description Description Join our Springs Team! When our founder couldn't find senior housing options for his grandmother that he felt were dignified, warm, and homey, he decided to build such a community for her. From that promise, The Springs Living was started in 1996 with one community in Salem, Oregon. Today, the company has 17 unique communities across Oregon and Montana that feel like home for seniors and their families. Our mission is to change the way people think, feel, and experience senior living which starts with changing the way people work in senior living. To accomplish this, we prioritize quality to enhance peoples' lives - not only in our services and housing options for independent living, assisted living, and memory care, but also as an employer. Medication Technicians provide a variety of services to our residents, including but not limited to: Administers or assists residents to self-administer medications and treatments; Measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks. Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, and reports/documents pertinent information. Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services Additionally, Medication Technicians work as the on-floor supervisor
Qualifications:
We are looking for people who have the following traits: organized, able to prioritize, patient, empathetic, positive and professional attitude, compassionate, creative and proactive thinking, teamwork-oriented, and have a passion to serve others. Caregiving or Med Tech Experience preferred Knowledge of Medical Terminology Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening. Genuine appreciation for seniors and willingness to learn. If you are new to the field of health services, we do provide all training necessary to become successful in your new position, we also offer optional training classes online and in-person to further your career development.
