Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Store Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and supporting healthcare operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth pharmacy and hospital store functions while providing compassionate care to patients and healthcare professionals alike. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that every patient receives the highest quality of service. Duties Assist in managing the front store operations, including patient intake, medication dispensing, and inventory management Provide outstanding patient service by answering questions, guiding patients through medication pick-up processes, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently Support pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff with medication administration, IV infusion preparation, and aseptic techniques to uphold safety standards Maintain accurate records of medication transactions, patient information, and store documentation in compliance with hospital policies Ensure the store area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies while adhering to infection control protocols Collaborate with medical teams to facilitate critical care procedures and ensure timely medication delivery in acute care settings Follow all safety procedures related to LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy operations, critical care environments, and hospital experience requirements Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology and hospital workflows to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and patients Prior experience in LTC pharmacy, critical care units, or hospital settings is highly desirable Proven ability to deliver excellent patient service with empathy and professionalism Knowledge of aseptic technique, medication administration, and IV infusion procedures to support clinical operations Experience working as a pharmacy technician or in acute care environments is preferred Excellent organizational skills for managing intake processes, inventory control, and documentation accuracy Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced healthcare settings This role offers a rewarding opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to patient care excellence.
