Medication Aide

Medication aides are a kind of nursing assistant whose primary responsibility is administering medication to patients at medical facilities. The job can be challenging but also extremely fulfilling, as you have the chance to become a regular part of a patient's care team.

Responsibilities:

Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Collected samples for testing. Monitored food and liquid input/output. Administered and accurately recorded the administration of medication. Routinely inspected, cleaned, and monitored equipment and supplies to ensure safety. Answer patient call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patient needs.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
