Turning Point Inc. of Paterson is recruiting Certified Medication Technicians to join the medical team weekdays 3 pm - 11 pm shifts. As a Certified Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to our residential patients and play an assistive role in the medication administration process. You will work to ensure efficient patient care delivery. This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical and nursing staff. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Certified Medication Aide Credential Medical Assistant Certification required from one of the following recognized

NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAMA, NCMA, AMCA, NAHP.

Additional training and certification for medical technician for certified medical assistants will be provided. Experienced medication aides are welcome to apply At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrates a clear understanding of patient satisfaction and safety Administration of basic medications as directed by a physician or health practitioner Strong written and oral communication skills are essential Attention to accuracy and detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure Excellent customer service skills and compassion Turning Point is a
