Full time position for role to support individuals with developmental disabilities in accordance with DODD standards. DSPs provide hands‑on assistance, promote independence, ensure health and safety, and deliver services aligned with each person's Individual Service Plan (ISP). Key Responsibilities Provide daily supports such as personal care, community participation, and skill development according to the ISP and DODD service documentation rules. Accurately complete service documentation, notes, and outcome reporting in alignment with Ohio DODD requirements. Administer medications under approved Medication Administration Certification (Category 1, 2, or 3 as applicable) including completing RN skills checks and individual‑specific medication training. Maintain all required annual trainings, including the 8‑hour annual DSP continuing education. Minimum Qualifications All DSP candidates must meet Ohio DODD requirements, including: 18 years of age or older Completion of required DSP training , including the 8‑hour initial DSP training before providing services. Medication Administration Certification (Category 1, 2, or 3) CPR & First Aid Certification Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Knowledge of positive behavior support Familiarity with DODD documentation systems Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Why Work With Us?
