Join Our Team at Lincoln Knolls! Lincoln Knolls is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our skilled nursing facility team. If you are passionate about resident care and take pride in accuracy and compliance, we want to hear from you.
Position Summary:
The Medication Technician is responsible for safely administering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, while ensuring compliance with Ohio state regulations and facility policies. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and Ohio Department of Health guidelines Accurately document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition Monitor residents for adverse reactions and notify nursing staff as needed Assist with medication pass, treatments, and basic resident care Maintain proper storage, labeling, and security of medications Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations Provide compassionate, resident-centered care at all times Support nursing staff with daily tasks and workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
Current Medication Aide/Technician certification recognized in the state of Ohio Active STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification preferred Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills Must pass background check and drug screening Why Join Lincoln Knolls?
